1.) How much is the application fee?
Answer: $30.00 per adult, all adults must be on lease
2.) How much is the security deposit?
Answer: Deposits are $500.00 on all apartment homes and an additional security deposit of $800.00 for up to two pets.
3.) What utilities are residents responsible for?
Answer: Residents are responsible for all utilities except the gas water heaters. Pacific Gas and Electric, Comcast (offering cable television and high speed internet), AT&T (offering phone service and high speed internet) and American Utility Management (water, trash and sewer is billed monthly with maximum caps of $35 for one lessee, $50 for two lessee's, and $65 for three or more occupants) are the residents responsibility.
4.) Are we pet friendly?
Answer: YES! Residents are allowed two pets per apartment home with an additional security deposit of $800.00. The Cove does have a canine breed restriction list, but does not have a pound limit. Veterinarian canine breed verification required.
5.) Do the apartment homes come with assigned parking?
Answer: All apartment homes come with one assigned carport. There is ample parking for extra cars and guests.
6.) Do we offer short term leases?
Answer: The Cove always offers 12 month leases and shorter terms leases that change on a monthly basis. The shortest lease term we may offer, depending on your move-in date, is 3 months. Month to Month leases are offered only after residents fulfill their initial lease term with a $100.00 premium.
7.) How many guests are allowed to use the amenities?
Answer: Two guests per apartment home.
8.) Does the leasing office accept packages for Cove Residents?
Answer: Yes!
9.) Where do residents walk their dogs?
Answer: Many residents enjoy walking their dogs throughout the approximately 30 acres of beautifully kept landscaping and the many dog parks in the area such as Blackies Pasture and The Mill Valley Dog Park.
10.) How many laundry rooms are there?
Answer: There are twelve laundry rooms conveniently located throughout the community. The laundry machines use Smart Cards so you do not need to hassle with quarters.
11.) Do the apartments come with storage?
Answer: Yes! All apartments come with a storage locker located in the carport areas. The storage lockers vary in size.
12.) Does The Cove heat the outdoor pools?
Answer: The outdoor pools are heated from May thru October. The indoor pool is heated year round.
13.) Can residents kayak in The Cove Marina?
Answer: Yes! Cove residents are allowed to store kakas on the marina docks allowing easy access to enjoy the bay.
14.) Does The Cove hold resident events to get to know your neighbors?
Answer: Yes! The Cove holds two large annual events which are the Summer Block Party Barbeques and a fantastic holiday party. In addition, there are monthly resident functions.
